On Thursday the 18th of December Thomas van de Sande from Royal Haskoning DHV will come by for a lunch lecture.
Royal Haskoning DHV is the oldest consulting firm in the Netherlands. Since 1881 the company has grown to an international independent engineering and project management consultancy.
Thomas van de Sande, a former TEL student, will give a presentation about a logistic simulation of a project in Russia. This project was about a coal export terminal with floating transshipment.
For those of you who are just about to finish the course Discrete Systems, this will be a good example of how these simulations are used in the real world.
The lecture will be held at 12:30 on the 18th of December in lecture hall D. Lunch is included.
See you all there!
