Excursion Huisman
On the 1st of December, you finally get a chance to see what Huisman is really all about! Huisman is a privately owned company operating globally with extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of heavy construction equipment for world’s leading on and offshore companies. During a full day, we will get to know about the company and we will work on a case study. Soon the complete program will be posted on the site. There is a limited number of students who can join so fill in the form quickly if you want to join! Please apply before Tuesday the 24th.
Duitslandreis
Next month, Thursday the 26th, we will travel to Germany with all the first year TEL students. We will leave Delft somewhere in the morning. On this first day we will visit the RWE mines in Aachen. There are some really big impressive machines there (just google for some nice pictures). To conclude the first day there will be a dinner and (a few) beers. On the second day we will visit another company, but we’re still working on that. We will be back in Delft before dinner. Subscribe for the trip here!
Accenture In-House Day
On the 19th of November, we will organize an In-House day at Accenture. Accenture is a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, with more than 323,000 people serving clients in more than 120 countries. The day starts 9:30 in Amsterdam, after a short introduction we will work on a case in our field of study. The day will be concluded with some drinks on the roof! Reünie 2015
Beste Alumnus, Bij deze willen we u van harte uitnodigen voor de Transportkunde Pandora Reünie 2015. Dit jaar zal de reünie plaatsvinden op donderdag 4 juni 2015 bij Huisman in Schiedam. Tijdens de reünie heeft u de gelegenheid elkaar uitgebreid te spreken. Verder wordt er onder andere een presentatie verzorgd over de nieuwe “Hybrid Boom Crane” en is er de mogelijkheid om een rondleiding te krijgen in de indrukwekkende productiehal waar deze nieuwe kraan gemaakt wordt. Company visit Mieloo & Alexander
On Monday the 11th of May there will be a day organized together with Mieloo & Alexander. Mieloo & Alexander is specialized in delivering “technology enabled supply chain improvement”. The program for this day is as follows: In the morning we will get a lecture at 3me about the company. In the afternoon there is a company visit to a location where Mieloo & Alexander made an improvement. To close the day, there is a dinner in Delft.
